It is not neccesary to use the huge web authoring programs to make a good page or site , for the most part ,I use Web breeze pro and Evrsoft..
It is a very simple wysiwyg editor and will produce a nice clean optimised page , like this one . ( I also find it produces very little errors in the html)
And , it's free , but not pro tho , that's $30 or so , well worth it!

the jpegs , they are slow to load and will cxause you to lose visitors especially when you have a lot of subdomains , and really you don't need them.
